Mr Poppers Penguins



According to Propp's spheres of action there are are certain characters included in a film. This includes a hero, villain, doner, helper, dispatcher, the false hero and the victim.

In Mr Poppers Penguins the victim is his family as he is more focused on having a successful career than spending time with his family. The hero in the film is Mr Popper as he saves and protects the penguins from the zookeeper. The villain in the film is the zookeeper/ animal control as he is desperate to take the penguins away from Mr Popper even though he has been told that the penguins are fine and that Mr Popper isn't getting rid of them.
